Thread: Thursday #84!!!

    Well, y'all asked for it.

Here's a pic of the new addition, and out of kindness to the mayor I won't post the pic of her holding Axel.

Axel was born on Nov 19th, and from what I heard was proving his lungs worked from the moment he entered the world. I wasn't there, was en route back home from FT Drum.

Barkeep, I think I'll have another two or three DOTD please.

20 yrs ago I was a 2 yr old kid with a bad habit of getting myself into things I shouldnt!!!

I have fond memories of my mom telling me not to jump off the stairs...

Thats why I have such a great scar on my knee today!! I was a fun kid...

A DOTD for me...and one for mom too having to put up with my curiosity was a pain in the butt at best!

    (hear Robin Williams saying this)

What a beautiful new son you have LH! I think I would cry a lot too, if I was taken from Mom's warm cozy womb into this world.
May he have a long, healthy and especially happy life!

Yes, Laurie, some good hot non complicated coffee........sounds pretty good to me!

It is going to be a good day.....much better than 20 years ago!

    Good MOOORRRRNNNNIIIINNNNGGGGGG.............GINI!

Gee, that'll wake you up - for sure!

I'll have some of that coffee, but it has to be a little complicated. Simple coffee and I don't get along very well. Decaf with lots of cream and pink sugar if you please. See, not too complicated.

LH, Axel (that's his name, right) is adorable! Just look at those pink pudgy cheeks.

    ~~ Hi All ~~

Oh twenty years ago I was ??years old - Diane was 12 and Elizabeth was 6 - we lived in the same house. I wasn't working them - and I'm not now - there was a bit in the middle when I was!!! I was a whole lot younger with more energy and no aches and pains.

LH - Axel is one beautiful baby - just look at those gorgeous cheekies - just waiting for tiny kisses - awwwww. xxx

Think I'll go with a Bailey's coffe please - it's 5pm here and suddenly turned verrrrrry cold. I was going to wrap Christmas pressies - but I've got nice and warm in front of the fire - maybe give the present wrapping a miss andd just slob out - that sounds good!

Hello everyone....you know I'm positive I posted here earlier this morning but somehow it got deleted....could Mario have done it?? Maybe I've been taking too much cold medication...

LH: Axel is so sweet. I think you should should start a thread in the General section so everyone can see how beautiful he is.

I'll take something hot and strong please to kickstart my morning.

Lynne, can I come over and play too???

Slick, I agree with Corinna. If you're coughing especially. My mom - who usually doesn't touch more than a drop of liquor - was coughing a lot after her bypass surgery (over 10 years ago now). She couldn't take all the normal cough medicines because it would have interfered with the heart medications she was taking, so the only thing she found that would subdue the cough is a shot of whiskey! Yes, she had at least one or two shots a day - and this from a woman who drinks soooo rarely! I couldn't believe it but I was there to witness the coughing and then the calm, so now I'm a believer. Also, if you look at all the normal cough medicines out there, they're all something like 10% alcohol, so why not go right for the good stuff and forget all the sweet syrupy stuff.

Anyway, hope you feel better, and hope Mario doesn't steal anymore posts. Maybe he thought it would make a nice Christmas present for somebody.

Debbie...no coughing....just the "I can't breed" syndrome....(leave it alone guys....) When we were moving into this building I was teasing the bosses that I wanted a wetbar. Would have come in handy now. Yeah Mom...you go for it!

LOL I was driving to work this morning and saw a big truck with a sign on it reading "HAZ MATERIALS". I started laughing hysterically and I'm sure those in the next lane were looking at me funny....

I would have been doubled over laughing and have to pull over Slick. I can't hardly go any where that I don't start giggling becouse it recalls some thing from here. Pet talk has wrecked my life or is it enhanced it? That is the question.
