I totally agree. I mean, that is a sad fact of life. But if I had seen something like that when I was young, I'd probably be scarred for life. There's no telling how much emotional damage she's done. And, for the record, I couldn't kill an animal at all. That's why I haven't ever pursued being a vet or working at one because I couldn't bear to see them PTS. I was just trying to think of a less violent way for those poor bunnies. I think she needs a psychological evaluation.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Personally I find no excuses acceptable, and If this happened in my daughter's school I would be outraged, and get off my butt and do something about it, animal cruelty it is in my opinion, there were more humane ways of disposing of these poor defenceless babies, yes life down on the farm can be cruel, and that is exactly what it is at times CRUEL, and as a farmer's daughter I still think there is no excuse for it, farming does not have to be cruel.

    Geez

Uh ... yes! What was she thinking?

Mum to two little humans, a very vocal 14 year old Ragdoll, and a super energetic and snuggly rescue kitten.
