I like my coffee in the morning and we don't have any of the fancy coffee places in my town so we have to brew it ourselves. But, I like mine in between really strong and strong with cream and REAL sugar! That's one thing I won't scrimp on.

This reminded me... in my old job I had to travel with my boss, and a few other people. Most of the time it was to small towns (like Ruidoso, Zip)... anyway, they were all trained! When we drove into town everyone would look down side streets while heading to the hotel. Because they knew first thing the next morning we HAD to find me a decent latte or at least a good cup of coffee.

After working with them for a few years they would even pick hotels nearer to the coffee places, or ask ahead of time where they were. MAN am i spoiled!

Green Mountain is my *favorite*!!! I love coffee, and don't have a good day if my day doesn't start off with a large mug! I drink it with 1/2&1/2 only and like it fairly strong. I like different varieties, but Breakfast Blend is my favorite.

Mmmmm Now I'm craving a mug!

I drink at least 4 cups of high octane before 11am.cream and sweet and low, then after dinner about the same and never have a problem sleeping. Dunkin Donuts is the BEST! I hate flavored coffee, but like Sandra (I'll be over tomorrow) I love Kenyan AAA, Kona and the South American special blends. I'm jealous, Sand..I have to wait at least 15 minutes for my coffee to be ready! My dad made the best coffee..he put a pinch of salt in the grinds to kill the acid. He learned that in the army. The best part of my morning coffee is sitting on the back porch with Logan (and Cody) and just relaxing for a spell.

I am not a big coffee fan, can't stand it straight, but that is the way my dad drinks it. My dad is the coffee drinker and my mom is a tea drinker or hot chocolate. I prefer the flavored coffees or capaccinoes and when its cold out. Like getting to be this time of the year. No Starbucks here. Just Gas stations with the instant machines!!!
We have a Speedway in Findlay on the other side of the dog park that has a great Capaccinoe machine and gourmet coffees. If its cold out, I go out of my way about 15 min just to get a Jumbo to have at the doggie park!!!

Ever since I started drinking Starbucks (or Seattle's Best) I have been spoiled. Regular coffee such as Folger's or Yuban or that type of brand just doesn't cut it.

I have the coffee pot on a timer - so it is ready first thing when I wake up.

I like to use a big mug - put the milk or cream into the cup first - and then put in the coffee - ummm, yum. About two of those get the day rolling quite nicely. No sugar - I have never liked sweet coffee.

I can usually tell if it is good coffee at a restaurant by the color after you add the cream. If you have to add to much cream or milk - and it still looks muddy - you are in for a bitter taste with too much milk.

I rarely ever have coffee the rest of the day unless I am out for dinner - and even then can do without it, or it doesn't appeal to me in the evening.

Karen, a pinch of salt, I have never heard of that. I will have to try it.

Yum! Coffee! Add me to the "coffa-holic" list! I usually like to have coffee first thing in the am. Occasionally, an evening cuppa is nice, but only if it is decaffinated. I love Starbucks, and especially like the holiday flavors. Anyone else like the gingerbread latte? It tastes like a mouthful of cookies! Yum!

At home, I like to grind my own coffee, and my absolute favorite is Ghirardelli Chocolate Raspberry. It's hard to find, but I stock up when I do find it! Otherwise, I just get what's on sale, usually Creamy Hazelnut or Irish Cream. I like half and half, but skim milk will do. I also use sugar or splenda, 3 please!

Ewwwww I HATE coffee....I hate the smell, the taste makes me gag.....ick.

I will admit to being a tad addicted to Stevens Hot Chocolate with vanilla creamer in it in the winter though.

I can't stand to drink hot drinks other than in the winter. It's just not right!

I usually only drink coffee when it starts getting chilly out. I'll have a cup when I first get to work to warm me up, but it has to be with a yummy creamer (toasted almond or kahlua are the best!). I don't like the coffee I make, I like the coffee at my work.

Wow, I am really learning ALOT! I am trying the salt thing tomorrow.

Tatsxxx- where did you find an automatic grinder/coffee maker? That sounds about perfect for me. I am holding out, waiting for a great sale on a combo coffee/esspresso maker.

I have one good cup of coffee a day, in the afternoon - unless I'm out for dinner.

I usually drink Arabica, but I LOVE the Kenya sort. I have mine with 2 small sugars and whipped warm milk. On occasion, I pour a drop of Grand Marnier in. Yummy!
