Although I live in the suburbs, they pretty much all look alike, so here are some more of Chicago.

    Navy Pier

View of Chicago from the lake.

Another view of Navy Pier and the skyline from the lake (we were on a cruise tour).

Me in front of the wildly blooming Impatients at the entrance to Navy Pier.

And just to get a little closer to home, here's a pic of Tubby and our backyard.

Well we're stuck in the middle of an island with a few beaches. Nothing interesting here. But I'll post a pic of my house only because it is the only thing I can think of, the beaches are covered in snow, and so is ... well everything else.

Of course it is a little crooked because I took it from a tree, where I go to take pictures of everything; my neighbors playing, peoples houses & Christmas lights, etc. But that pic was taken in the summer, well obviously. Just...umm... I don't want any people coming to my house lol so I reserve the right to take this down at any time (don't know why anyone would come to my house though lol).

Well, we live in Ft. Hood, Texas. I don't really have any pics from the area surrounding us, but here's a pic of the outside of our home that we took when we first moved in last July!

I love the pics people have shared though. Thanks for sharing all of them.

Here is the pics I took today:

The wonderful Mississippi River (at least I like it)

    Look Kentucky! LOL

And the always busy New Madrid Downtown

The river is usually prettier but it was such a yucky day today.

This is Melbourne, perched on the Yarra River

View of the Mornington Peninsula, which is the area in which I live. This is Arthur's Seat, I rode my bike to the top once and never again!

I wish I had a pic of the navy base where I work, it's just lovely. Not sure if I'm allowed to steal images from our intranet ...

Ok, I'll post a few of New Orleans.
The city: See that tall square white building sort of in the background? That’s where I work.

    The French Quarter:

The infamous Bourbon Street in the French Quarter: Personally, Boubon Street can be fun in some spots, but mostly, I think it’s nasty. I stay away from it because it’s mostly lots of drunk people, bars, and strip joints with a few restaurants thrown in. Most of the natives, myself included, prefer Frenchman St. It has great cozy little jazz bars and dance places.

St Loius Cathedral as seen from inside Jackson Square:

    Continued:
On the right, the grave of the famous VooDoo Priestess, Marie Laveaux

The Steamboat Natchez on the Mississippi River:

    Down here, it‘s NOT a trolley, it’s a Streetcar!

Of course, I have to post a few pics of the city during Mardi Gras as it is
Mardi Gras time now. Tons of tourists and parades. I love that saying...Why
do they call it tourist season if you can't shoot them?! I try to stay out
of the city during Mardi Gras because it's just nuts...but I will
occasionally go down to Bourbon Street and have dinner with Joey on one of
the restaurant's balconies and watch all the crazy tourists down below.

A float from one of the parades:

A close up of the riders on the float throwing beads:

Here's Bourbon Street in the French Quarter packed with people during Mardi

There's nothing too exciting about where I live, so here are a few of the sites we have (like I said, nothing too interesting!)
    Piqua Flesh Public Library

A picture of the Miami River from downtown

    The Erie Canal

Johnston Farm (a historical place, with tours & such)

I can't find any newer pictures of our house, so maybe while I'm out today I take a couple...ones with snow!

Ok, I'm back with a picture of where we live, it's not much...but we call it home

I love seeing pictures of where everyone lives. I've never really seen pictures of New Orleans except for Bourbon Street, so that was interesting. I just like seeing new and different places. Anna, that library is beautiful.

Here are a few scenes from Vermont. This first one is some of Samantha's cow cousins.

And a couple of snowy mountain photos. I will look for some more photos to post later.

    Wow! There's a lot of fantastic places around the world! In Denmark we miss the mountains - and John, being english, miss the rivers. Well, at least, we're close to the sea. );

Here's some pics from Copenhagen and surroundings.

Will post a picture from our window a little later.

Here it is, from when we had a lot of snow recently.
