I can't believe this is happening. This morning I heard kittens mewing when I went into the kitchen. I thought maybe that calico cat who looks like Angel (and is very pregnant) had her babies under my back porch. She has been around off and on lately.
WRONG! She had them ON my porch. In an old cardboard box that is colapsing.She did allow me to peek in. I can't tell how many she has. I saw 3 for sure and I think little backsides of two others. All were breathing.
so, now what in the world do I do? I can't take care of them. The back porch is not really a safe place for them and that box won't hold out forever. I wonder if she will move them when the weather warms up to some place better. I'm afraid she is on her own. I can feed her but that's it.
She won't let me near her to move the babies even to a dry box.
Mercy why me? Am I a cat magnet or something?
