HA! Now try to explain Thursdays!

Even at my BBQ the firemen asked "what is Thursdays?" Let me tell you it took some doing with a straight face to try to explain.

A source of true joy - that's Pet Talk and Thursdays.

And let's hear it for our reliable (cough cough) bartender, Richard!

    LOL, here!

I have to do a hit and run here.....

    DONE!

Hi everybody and HAPPY BIRTHDAY POTD!! I took some photos in honour of the occasion, hoping to get one that I might submit to Cat of the Day, but all I got was the back of heads, evil glares and flicking tails.

It's turned a bit nippy here tonight, an Irish coffee would be most welcome if you please.

    MOFF,

The Ouija board/palm reading/psychic bill will be sent out.

My theory is Expect the Worst/Pay a Little Repair Bill!

    CM,

After years of working in a hospital I came up with this one....

People would always come up to me and during the conversation say something like, "I'm Sleepy!"
I'd answer them, "I'm Dopey, Doc is down the hall!"

    David,
Just do not watch the mixer spin, I almost fell in last time.

    DUMB!

I'll take it easy, RICHARD! I'll only look in when it's stopped. I'm dizzy enough as it is!

Hey, it's 2:18 on Saturday morning, Don't ever say that there is no service at this watering hole!

I'll sit with ya at the bar for a chat.....

Cheesecake and a Pina Colada? DONE!

I always get a huge laugh when I catch some Aussie Rules Football-it's the helmets/head protection that some players wear. I always wait for the Russian tank to pull up on the pitch, the helmeted player to jump in and drive off!

Hey, last night I got given a piece of cheesecake free in the real world! They failed, twice, to make the pizza I ordered - those of us with food allergies don't have the luxury of saying "oh, I'll eat it anyway" and the guy who had taken the order originally insisted on sending me home with a piece of cheesecake for my trouble - not that I resisted that TOO hard ...

But iced tea and blueberry cake, please!

I have to apologize to LH and LOH here.

I wish for LOH to get a JOB.....Not an "OB"

    How stupid am I?

    Karen,

So how is your arm today?

It must have hurt to have an appendage twisted in order for you to comply!

One Blueberry, (Mario) cake and some Iced tea?

    DONE!

I stopped off at the store and bought some beer.

I set the beer on the floor and when I turned to grab one, SOMEONE had parked their rear next to the package and decided that a 'cold one' is a perfect place to park a warm head!

Hee hee - I would never actually order a piece of cheesecake, as I try to be good about what I eat ad all that, but free cheesecake, well - hard to even pretend to resist!

Cold beer + white cat hair - does that mean, after drinking it, you won't get hung over, as you've already had "hair of the cat" so won't need a "hair of the dog" cure?

As much as I could use a "night out" I just bought two cans. Moderation!

    For the moment!

And when you live with the "hair of the cat", you are never in any distress!
