I didn't get to see the race but heard it was pretty good.
Go Joey![]()

What's up with JL's dad?
I heard he got his ANNUAL credential pulled!![]()
yeah DaddyLo had a "discussion" with Greg Biffle, after Greg threatened to put Joey in the wall... and did so.
IMO , Nascar needs to come down on Biffle. This is behaviour that has gone on to long. If he has
a problem it needs to be solved off track.
I had a sneaking suspicion
that Johnson would assume the position
at the top of the Chase
by winning a race.
Now Mark's on a 12-point mission.
Joey's Dad reminds me of a stage mom. I think at some point Joey is going to have to tell him to back off and let him fight his own battles.
What a finish! Can't believe Tony rallied back for a Top 5.
I don't want to admit how superstitous I am, but Shlitz is Tony's Beer of choice. I have only found 1 local place that carries it, and they were out from after Watkins Glen, but I found a 12 pack, just before Dover. I don't know what I am going to do next week in Charlotte....since I will be at the race!! I hope we can find Shlitz in NC!!! I have told Ralph he may have to step up and drink my 2 on Saturday night!
On a positive note, JJ jas never one a race I have been at....let's hope the streak continues!
Only 89 points behind, let's hope that Tony can pull it off. We still have 6 more races so he's got a chance.
Unfortunately I'm thinking Denny is out of it again this year
Oh girl I hope so! I don't wanna see Jimmie win again in person and I'm hoping your our good luck charm![]()
Only 5 days 3 hours and 21 minutes!!!!!!!

Nascar fans, when they show the in-car camera (roughly from the front passenger seat, if it was a passenger car) - what is the bar, along the driver's right temple, with a logo on it? My dad told me it is to protect the driver's head, but it looked to us like it was far enough away from the driver that his (helmeted) head could easily bounce against the bar. Is it to protect the driver? Is it closer to him than it looked on TV?
Thanks,
Elyse

the top part of the seat sticks out around the driver's helmet on both sides. His head can indeed hit this padded bar but it will keep it from going any further over. It is far enough away to allow the drivers to turn their heads a little bit. Their helmets are also tethered to their necks by a HANS (Head and Neck Support) device to keep them from going too far forward. Even when the car is flipping over the drivers are so strapped and surrounded by safety equipment that their torsos hardly move.

I have never heard a prayer like that one that was just given before the Nationwide race tonight.Oh my!
Time helps the sadness subside, but the memories remain forever.
Thank you! I'll show this picture to dad. We couldn't tell that it's u-shaped. It just looked like a bar.
I'd like one of those in my car, but bring the front part down lower and please put a heater inside of it for my sore neck after a day of work at my un-ergonomic work station![]()

I think Marty Smith agrees with me:
