Okay Robin... I just had a blonde moment..... When I started reading your post I automaticly thought Damika was a dog!!!! So you could imagine my shock when I got to the part about Damika wiping the girls feet off after they come inside.
A niece isn't always a SKIN-Niece!!
Wow! I'd like to have a dog that could wipe my dogs feet off after being outside in the rain!!

When I first started reading I also thought that Damika was a dog Then when I saw the pictures I felt very dumb for thinking that. I also have that same doggie cookbook. It has wonderful recipes. I love the pictures

Robin, I have to say these pictures melt my heart.

Maybe i'm just weird but, the transformation from playing with dolls - to see the dolls knocked over on the floor and the pups having her full attention totally kills me. How precious.

Tell Damika I said hello and next time I come up for a visit we must meet. I am awfully jealous that she gets to visit Aunt Robin and I don't.

Of course the girls like it when Damika visits. Homemade biscuits and lots of floor time, , who could blame them. I absolutely LOVE all of the pictures of Katie playing dolls with Damika they are all adorable,but I particularly like the one that has been reposted, I thought that Damika was explaining the rules of the game and Katie was listening carefully.

GoldenLuv, my sister gave me the treat book for Christmas and I'll have to ask her again where she got it. I think she told me The Kitchen Collection. Its a store here in town. I don't know if those are located all over or not. I'm sure you could probably find it at a Barnes and Noble or some other book store. The recipes are really easy to make and the girls loved the two different types that we made.

Kay, you are right. It didn't take long before the dolls were forgotten about and she turned all her attention on the pups.

These are just wonderful Robin. I have a similar book and have made treats out of it a few times, it's so much fun and the pups just LOVE the treats! Your niece is absolutely adorable too and I love her name! She looks like she does wonderfully with Miss Katie and Tori. I truly enjoyed these Robin .
