OMG....Are you still going on about the rooms?! Would you just get over it and let it go! Alden and I had to hear about that room for the whole trip . I'm surprised that you didn't tell them that we had better bus seats also . Anna, don't you dare go and give away my secrets!!

Well, its about time you posted your pictures, girlfriend! I've been waiting forever . Yep, Alden and I had a great time hanging out with Mr. & Mrs. Goober, oops, I mean Anna and Mark . I never in my wildest dreams thought that I would meet someone online and wind up going on a road trip with them. What fun!! I absolutely loved the races! I could have done without all the rain delays Friday night though...lol. I thought the weather for the Cup race was perfect. The Cup race is so exciting! I loved watching the guys parachute in, one with the green flag to start the race and another with the American Flag. I love all the cute little Nascar children singing the National Anthem. I love love love the F-16s! OMG..they are so cool and give me chills! When the Cup Race finally started I was completely into it. We listened to Mark Martin most of the time on the radio and I found myself completely wrapped up in how he was doing. I was holding my breath praying that he would make it pass the next car safely and be able to stay away from all the wrecks. On every restart I was a nervous wreck and would pound on Alden's leg and give it a squeeze til I knew Martin was in the clear. The wrecks and the restarts would get my heart pounding so fast! When Martin had that last bad pit stop my heart sunk because I knew there was no way that he could make it back to the top 10. Luckily, one of my other favorites was doing pretty good! What an awesome performance from Matt Kenseth! Wow, did he dominate that race! He was so smooth and powerful. Overall, the Roush racing team did well. I was happy because when we went in the spring I think they all were involved in crashes...lol. Well, thats enough of me rattling on. Let me see what pictures I have to post!

P.S. Did you guys notice how Anna had to mention Kurt Busch a couple of times? Her and Mark say they can't stand him but I have to tell you that they talk about him non stop!! I think deep down they really must like him.

Sounds exciting! did you eat anything interesting there? I ask because we went to a racetrack in Mississippi a few years ago and they sell cones of "boiled peanuts" , I guess it's a southern thing! (I didn't care for them, but they sure stuck in my memory) Glad to hear you all had such a wonderful trip!

wow! looks like you guys had a great time! my sister is a crazy nascar fan (we always make fun of her lol shes a totally non typical nascar fan; shes slowly educating me ), and for her birthday this year (in june) she and her husband flew out to arizona for a race. shes still talking about it they got to stand down in mark martin's pit, and she met some drivers and stuff. she had an amazing time.
