Yeoowch!! I fell down the stairs...or slid more like it... with a cat in my arms. Instead of breaking my fall, I clutched the cat to my chest and just slid down the stairs.

Hit the back of my head on the stairs and bruised my tailbone.

I so sympathise.

I too am the classic bull in a china shop. My hubby calls me Dolores (because Dolor means "Pain" in Spanish) as I'm forever bumping into things, etc.

MooShoo knows you didn't drop him on purpose and he's just allowing you to redeem yourself by giving you the opportunity to take him outside again.

I'm glad your foot/ankle are better, too.

This was years ago. When I still lived with my parents. I just wasn't watching where I was going and socks and carpeted stairs don't mix if you don't pay attention.
