You live in such a beautiful area. Nebo poses like a pro. I love it when he sits on the rocks. His blue eyes are just mezmerizing.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Wonderful pics wolfq! Nebo is as gorgeous as always and Reggie and Sydney are cute, cute. I love that lil' Sydney. She reminds me of Maddie for some reason. I'm gonna have to show the pics of Nebo with his backpack carrying water to Oz. Oz has that same backpack, but was he wearing it? Nope. I had to tote around all his water myself.

Beautiful pictures as always Amy. You seem to love to get out with the dogs as much as I do. It's just so relaxing and enjoyable, and of course you have beautiful scenery there. Nebo always looks right at home among the "wilds"

Would you mind shipping Nebo, the mountain, and the rest of the scenery to me?

wow. Your pictures are always crystal clear, I really enjoyed them. I was going to get one of those packs for Niño but I am afraid he would not move! For all that muscle, ne would feel trapped, so I bought us a nice backpack. I wish we could go hicking there! By me it is all buggy woodland trails Anyway, I love the mountains, even though the only ones I have ever been to are the ones surrounding Phoenix, especially South Mountain. Looks like everyone had a really fun time!

Thanks everyone! I'm glad you enjoyed the photos. I'm not sure how long it took us, I wasn't really paying attention. There's a geocache up there so I found some info from that on how far it is....I guess it's 3/4 mile (one way) and a 900 ft rise in elevation...though it seemed more like at least a mile to me. Most of the trail isn't bad but there's some really steep areas that aren't fun.
