What you really need to do is contact your Councilman and the city on zoning, and city traffic department. They are the ones that will help change the traffic flow and help you with the problems. The police can't do anything until a crime has been committed. Yes, I saw where you said it was illegal, but to the police that is not really a crime.....unless someone gets hurt or killed, then and only then they will start to look into that problem area.

Get on the phone and start calling around. You will be transferred and transferred, but at least you will be alerting them to a problem they not be aware of.

I agree also, why jeopardize your home, and your kids over these idiots? Will your neighbors band together with you on this issue, and then bug the city council? Bug everyone until you get something done about this issue. How about videotaping the vehicles that go down the street the wrong way, and then showing the evidence (dated if possible) to whoever will do something?
