I agree that she needs to be vet checked, and spayed before she has another litter for people like me to have to clean up after! I don't think you see the 'big picture' at all regarding how many cats and kittens are killed every day in shelters across the country/world! We're talking thousands killed daily for lack of homes, because of the mentality of her needing to have a litter first! One out of four kittens born into homes (we're not even talking of the millions on the streets) may go on to have a great home where they're spayed/neutered and vacinated, while the rest end up on the streets reproducing, spreading viruses and creating a horror show for rescuers like me! Others will be used as bait for dogs who are raised for fighting, and some end up in labs for experimentation! The 'lucky' ones end up in shelters being euthanised. Please do what is right for your cat, and get her vet checked, and most importantly spayed!

I suggest she go to a kill shelter and see the many, MANY homeless ones there and remember, most of what she sees WILL be put to sleep for no other reason than the fact that they were BORN!

sooby, do not feel like everyone here is trying to be mean to you but most of us here have seen the many, many horrors many wonderful cats and kittens have had to live, the many, many wonderful spolied, pampered felines that end up in the kill shelters being put to sleep because there are just not enough homes for them.

My first day helping at my local shelter, a Mama cat and her whole litter was put to sleep right in front of me because the shellter was so overcrowded.

It is just that the best way to save so many lives of our feline companions is spaying and neutering so that they are not born to be put to sleep..

You can go get your cat a kitten at a shelter for her to mother and love. Cats will accept anothers kitten, it happens every day! Even a altered male will accept a kitten to father and love and it is a JOY to watch!!
