Tribute to Porch...
We're here in Kentucky but received bad news about Porch. We had to have him put down since his bowel problems reached the point where his quality of life was severely degraded. Luckily he was already being boarded at the vet's office. They were familiar with his condition and took good care of him in the end. We missed being with him but know he was in good hands.
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers
