Trap, Neuter, Return. In other words you trap them, fix them, and return where you trapped. Then you have feeding/watering stations set up. Just like what we do at the park. Although at the park we have to feed every evening since the birds, chickens, rabbits, peacocks, etc. will eat the food if we leave it out.Originally posted by Uniqueviking

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

It's very rare a feral that has already been trapped will go back into a trap. It has happened, but only a few times!
