I am glad to see another new australian shepherd owner aboard. My dog Bob Barker is now 14 years old & still goes out on hikes. He can't see that well or hear that good anymore but he has the biggest sweetest heart of any dog I have ever owned. I am a confirmed australian shepherd lover.![]()

Yeah Aussies are AMAZING at agility. They are fast little buggers!
Two of my puppers are Aussies. They are the ones in the back of my siggy. The front two are Border Collies. They are amazing dogs.
I swear if BCs didn't have tails, BCs and Aussies would be so hard to tell apart from pictures alone! In person its easier.Originally posted by LeahMM

I adopted an Aussie from an Aussie rescue last October...I only had him for a month but he was an AMAZING dog!!! We had to give him back to the rescue after he bit my dad twice in the face thoughBesides his dislike for my dad he was very good! His name was Lenny and he was a black tri, I started training him in agility and he learned how to weave in a week! That boy was soo smart, I am sooo sad that it didn't work out with us, I am definately sold with Aussies and wish to have an Aussie rescue later in life.
Here are some pictures of Lenny, supossedly he was a pet store puppy and went through several homes, I felt soo bad giving him back to the rescue but he was placed with owners experienced in his kind of issues and continued doing agility...

On my bed...(can you guess my favorite color lol)

your little boy sure was cute!! i love aussies, but my mom and dad wont let me get one cuz we dont have enough time for their energy level to exercise one. but they are the MOST pretty dog!!! border collies are just as cute.... just with tails!
