It's nice to meet all of you and your wonderful pet families. I've been on here for a while now (four years exactly (originally as Sia1 but then changed my screenname when I got married) but never had the nerve to actually post until recently). I've always enjoyed reading about other people's pets but never felt as if I had anything to add to threads...I guess lurking got rather boring and decided that I wanted to make my own friends on here.

I would love to chat with any of you so feel free to PM me. Growing up, my main pet was a male black cocker spaniel named Sultan (how I miss him..he was the perfect companion!) who passed away at 13 when I was 18 years old. A few months later, my mom got a female black cocker spaniel named Czarina but I went off to college a few months later so she never really was MY pet. My father enjoyed having fish and birds so we always had at least a tank or a bird cage full one time or another.

I never liked cats until my brother gave me Whisper and Shadow. I couldn't imagine now how I lived without them and will probably always have a few cats in the house. Right now, I would love to get a dog but we don't have a back yard and my house is too small for another pet. I will be moving to North Carolina in the fall to start my PhD and am hoping to get a house with a yard...then doggie time. : ) I've always wanted a black lab mix and/or a blond cocker spaniel..have names picked out and everything.

My name's Megan, I'm 15 years old and in the 9th grade. I live in nowhere's ville, Indiana and am trying to pursue a career in modeling.
I have

A peruvian guinea pig named Squishy, I think he is around 3 or 4 years old. I got him when I was on vacation in Texas (03) 2 days after christmas! I've had him for a little over a year now and he's spoiled and loves to play with Poppy!


A cockatiel named Keeley, she was neglected by her first owner, and was never taken out of her cage nor was her cage ever cleaned. She still isn't tame but we have her wings clipped so we bring her out, she doesn't really like anyone except Poppy.


A black & white kitty named Poppy, Poppy we got when he was 3 weeks old and had to bottle feed him. He is a total sweetheart will be 3 this summer and is really a mom to other animals!


An orange longhair tabby kitty named Princess Lily Fluff(a.k.a. Lily) My parents found her in March last year when she had been hit by a car, she was a stray and was very scared of us, but she couldn't really walk because her pelvis was broken, she's a sweetheart now and we really love her!


A dilute calico kitty named Jenny a.ka. The Sandal Stalker! Jenny we fostered for the humane society along with a litter of her kittens(the reason she was given up was because she wouldn't stop having kittens , shame on her for not being spayed!) Well, when the kittens were old enough we sent them all to The Humane Society, well 3 months later they called us up and told us the Jenny was going to get pts because she didn't find a home, my mom went down there and got her.


A grey tabby kitty named Colin, he is KING! Atleast that's what Colin thinks. Always putting the dogs and cats into their place and trying his best not to let my dad in the bed at night(very funny to watch, Colin has hated my dad for all the 12 years he's lived here! He LOVES my mom though)


A brown tabby kitty named Max a.k.a. Mr. Green Eyes(he came in August when he was just a stray we fed. Well during a very bad rainstorm we came home and he was begging us to let him in, so we set up a place in the bathroom(he hated being inside but didn't want to be outside either, it was all to new to him!) But he's great now and a total sweetheart a little shy around the other cats though and hates the dogs!


A doberman named Maggie, we got her at 6 weeks old and I trained her myself she will be 5 in March.

A german sheperd named Simon, he is the old boy in the house and the baby too! He is around 11 years old and well we bought him from a breeder before we really started rescueing.


A german sheperd named Hannah, she is Simon's half sister and is 6 years old. She may have wolf in her lines from her mother's lines but we aren't sure.


A mini dashound named Marty, he was a gift(my mom wasn't to happy, but she didn't want to put him in the pound) to my little sister from her dad when we went to visit him on his farm in Texas. He's very hyper and loves to play! He's about 8 months old.


A mini poodle named Alex, It's kind of funny about him because my mom loves poodles and we haven't had one in years! But a couple of weeks before my mom was talking to my aunt about how the next poodle that came her way she'd keep. Well, needless to say a backyard breeder talked to my mom and gave her 4 poodles, they were all a mess of matts and such. All the poodles were very friendly except Alex(he hates men) and Alex was never out of his cage before we got him. Alex still hates men and is also around 8 months old. The other poodles found homes with some nice ladies.

Hi! My name is Hannah! I am 13 years old. (I will be 14 in April) I am homeschooled and I LOVE it. I Play soccer and I LOVE taking pictures. (of animals mostly) I LOVE animals (other wise why would I join this site? )

Blotzie is dog! She is 11 years old! We got her from the humane sicoty when she was a puppy! She was abused by her first owner so she was realy scared of us at first. And she was a escape artist! Now she is just my good old puppy dog!


Zipper is my brothers kitty but he is in collage so he stays with us. He is the friendlest cat we have EVER had! (Zipper is the oarnge one the other one is my uncles we were babysitting)

Mella is my baby kitty! I found her when she was a kitten her eyes wern't even open yet! I raised her by myself. Now she is 2 years old!


Tiny is my moms cat. When my mom was in her 30s she found a cat that she say someone discard from there car. So they stoped the car and got her. Well she was going to have kittens and Rescu dies but Tiny is one of her babies! Tiny is now 13 and alive and well as ever! (and weird she likes to sit in the oddest places like the one in the picture)



Phebie is my gunie pig! I got her a little while ago from the penny saver.... I found that she is crazy and really does not like people but I am working on that....


Mill is my mousie! His friend Will just died a little bit ago. I don't have the best pictures of him becasue he will not stay still.



Snukums is my beloved Bunny! I LOVE this picture of him as soon as I took the picture he percked right up!


I have fish too but I don't have any pictures of them....

I wrote a paragraph for each animal then when I went to submit it it went all crazy and I lost all the stuff I wrote wich took about 30 min. I am so mad so I had to rewrite all of it! Lol oh well to late!

This is Tutu,a shamefaced boy,Chinese rabbit.he is one year and 5 months old,and I have him 16months.He is very docile, love eat and sleep.


This is Tuotuo,a female rabbit,I don't know what kind she is.She is one year and 6 months old,and I have her 1 year.Her mother was sensitive to something and then she came with me.She is archness and nit-pick,always dig my clothes when I hold her in my arm,but never other person.


This is my little hamster Feifei,male.Maybe 6 months old.Verrrry gentlemanly,I love him so much.


last,Shanshan,a male hamster.My BF alway ask him:Why are you so black??lol he is a very shamefaced, it's really hard to catch him,he always run fast away when I stretch my hand.

This thread is fun!

My name is Sara. Im 24 and have been married for 3 years. Me and my husband have no children except for Tinky and Jupiter our two cats.

I LOVE ANIMALS. ... i have grown up having lots of pets but now I am forced into only having two... I hope one day to have dogs and a lot of land to own some horses.

I love Pet Talk because it is hard to find people who understand how much I love animals and why I take so many pictures of my babies...

Here is Tinky... she is three years old. Eric rescued her from the pound and gave her to me for Christmas... she is the sweetest kitty ever and I love her with all my heart!!!







Here is Jupiter... he is my GOOFY GOOFY boy!! We took Jupiter in when my sister could no longer keep him.. He is the most kind hearted kitty I have ever met... he loooooooooooves to play and wil bite you if you are not giving him attention when he wants it
