I thank everyone for nominating Magoo. He has been through a lot this year.

    I would like to nominate

Birdie - Jan (Queenscoopalot) saved this little guy in an on going heart breaking and tear jerking thread. With a very happy ending I might add! Adopted by Catfamily (Carla and Mike)

Gabrial and Gracie - Two kittens that Jan saved and cared for until they went to their forever home with Catlover4ever.

I would also like to say that the vet wanted to put these three cats down but Jan would not give up on them. What a great lady!

I would also like to nominate

Lucky and Louie - Pt really came together for these two! A lot of people got involved and saved these two boys. They are now adopted and living wonderful lives with Catfamily (Carla and Mike)

This thread still gets to me.

Although it's quite a sad thread, it shows the kind of hearts that belong to PT.

I have read tons of stuff in my personal life-but nothing that has moved me like Bob's story.

Although there have been so many threads I've enjoyed, this one sticks out as ONE of my favorites, Men and their cats:

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

Because I was "away" for several months, I missed all these great threads! This morning, I read all those mentioned here, and the Olympic thread is my absolute favorite!! The story about Magoo is very heartwarming too. This will be a difficult voting, Randi!!
When is the voting going to begin? I cannot wait

I agree with everyone on Magoo's threads. I said so many prayers for that baby.. He kept me glued to the computer and still does.

Birdie comes next.. So many prayers I said for him. What a story that was! That was just one story that was heartwrenching with a happy ending (Thank God!)

and I just thought I was to attached to the story of Lucky and Louie and that it was nothing short of a miracle how the PT'ers jumped in and helped out. I am glad someone else brought that up first.

Gracie and Gabriel got a lot of my prayers too and that was just a sweet, sweet story.

Now Georgie get all my prayers.. Such a fighter!!

The two that made me cry the hardest was when we lost Tubby and Tucker...

I do not have time to find all those threads.. Almost time for me to go do my 28 days on...

May I PLEASE ask to post a link to these threads? Some people (like me ) haven't seen those, so it is difficult to vote over something that you don't know. THANK YOU!!!!!

Admittedly I don't follow the cat side much, certainly not because I don't like kitties, but purely because I can barely keep up with the doggie side. I want to pour over the threads listed later when I have a bit more time, but I'd like to nominate this very sad, but special thread that again illustrates the outpouring of compassion and understanding towards a fellow PTer during a tragic loss.

I nominate the announcement and memorial thread for our dearly departed Angus. I don't think anyone who has loved a pet could read through this thread and not shed a tear.

    You read my mind Jess.
I was just looking around trying to find some dog threads too, just to even things out, and that was the first I thought of.

It definitely showed the compassion that we all have for each other.

I will have to wait until I get home to re-read about dear Angus. My eyes are tearing up and my throat is closing just thinking about it But yes, it certainly does show the essense of PetTalk and makes me proud to be a part of it. Maybe not since Binx have I been so touched by a sweet dear dog I've never met.

I would also like to nominate this thread that Richard posted. It is very touching and serious, which we all know is unusal for Richard who is always making us laugh.

The Road to the Rainbow Bridge.
