Hi Connie, Sandra and everybody, Glad you guys enjoy the picture! Jackie likes corn with or without butter. I will post a picture of my other bird Luke as well.

I'm not sure which Jackie loves best...Mommy or the corn...at this point probably the corn..seems like she cant get enough. She is standing on her tippy toes to get all the bites she can before I eat it all. HE HE

OMG, Sandra! That picture of the two of you eating together is priceless!!!!! That never happens in my house. There are too many dogs and cats, so we have to be very careful with the Tiels!!!

This is Luke my other Cockatiel. I rescued him about 6 years ago. He is very pretty but really not as friendly as Jackie. I got jackie when she was 11 weeks from a breeder, so she is a hand fed baby and not afraid of hands or anything. I love Luke just as much, just wish I could have been with him from 11 weeks old baby. When I rescued him he was aboout 5 years old. I have had both Cockatiels now for 6 years.
I love those guys so much...but boy do they rule my life..oh well somebody should! HE HE

Luke was looking over at something I was cooking on the stove and singing . I liked the pose too so I took the picture. I really think he was looking nicely into the camera lense. Both of my cockatiels know when a picture is taken seem not to mind looking into the lense at all. Gotta love that!

Cockatiels love daily showers. It is great for their feathers and their overall health. If you have never given your tiel a shower please give it a try. Here is a picture of myself giving Jackie and Luke a shower.

I'm glad I checked back and was rewarded with these great pictures. What *pretty birdies* both Jackie and Luke are....guess it just runs in the family, taking after a pretty mommy.
