I'm grateful for my mom, my dad, my boyfriend, all my family and my babies Ori and Wilber. I'm grateful that I have experienced and given love in my life. I'm also grateful that I have a nice roof over my head, and a stable job which affords me a decent level of living.

    I am grateful to have

    A loving husband

    Two healthy children

My two parents are still alive, (as they were involved in a car crash Last week In aussie while on holiday,) I sure am glad they were not hurt.

    Two cute kitties

That my husband has a job.

That we have a roof over our heads, food in our tummies, and clothes on our bodies.

To have a special internet buddie.

To have PT in my life.

    Just to be ALIVE.

Captain, my parents are in the Gold Coast, it was only a minor one thank goodness, but you can't help but think what could have happened, its been a miserable holiday, that happened first and now they are both full of the cold., so keeping on track with this thread I will be grateful to have them home safe and sound.

I thank God for every day I can wake up and experence life, for every day I learn something, for every day I can talk with mum and dad and the rest of the family and share experences *although sometimes at first I really dont want to lol*, for every day I wake up knowing I have a husband that loves me with all he has, a rat that is the cutest thing in the world, a lizard that likes watching me sleep, a car that although looks beat up is the fastest most reliable car on the road, and a job that keeps the rent paid and the fridge stocked with beer sodas and food. I thank God for forums like this where people can share stories and help eachother out. I thank God for the oportunity to make a difference, even if it is only a small one.
I thank God that humans can feel love
I could go on forever...I am glad I saw this thread though, I've been feeling a little depressed lately and this thread helped me realize how wonderful life actually is!!

I immediately thought of this poem when I read this.

    Dear Lord:

Even though I clutch my blanket and growl when the alarm
rings, thank you, Lord, that I can hear. There are many who
    are deaf.

Even though I keep my eyes closed against the morning light
as long as possible, thank you, Lord, that I can see. Many are
    blind.

Even though I huddle in my bed and put off rising, thank you
Lord, that I have the strength to rise. There are many who are
    bedridden.

Even though the first hour of my day is hectic, when socks
are lost, toast is burned and tempers are short, thank you,
Lord, for my family. There are many who are lonely.

Even though our breakfast table never looks like the pictures
in magazines and the menu is at times unbalanced, thank you,
Lord, for the food we have. There are many who are hungry.

Even though the routine of my job often is hard, thank you,
Lord, for the opportunity to work. There are many who have
    no job.

Even though I grumble and bemoan my fate from day to day
and wish my circumstances were not so modest, thank you,
    Lord, for life.

Now, what am I grateful for? There is so much but I will only post the most important ones.

I am so grateful for my husband and my two, soon to be three, daughters. They are my world and I could not imagine my life without them.

I am grateful for my mother and my deceased father. They were wonderful parents and I had a great childhood. Even now my mom is always there for me, no matter what.

I am not only grateful for my work but also for my work family. They are such a great group of people to work with and I consider them family. I am also grateful for my husband's job and the fact that we can afford our house, car and anything else we need and a lot of what we want.

I am grateful for my pets. When I am so stressed out, all it takes is a few minutes with them to take that stress away.

And last, but certainly not least, I am grateful that I have accepted God into my life. Without Him I would have nothing!!!!

    I am grateful for:

    My Maker, first and foremost

I am grateful for my precious husband, who arrived at a perfect time in my life.

I am grateful for my daughter, Helen, who is respectful, beautiful and such a "gift" to me.

I am grateful for my parents, who have been so supportive and loving, regardless of my ups and downs. They are my "guides", through thick and thin. I am so glad to have them in my life.

I am grateful for my stepchildren who have taught me to open up and be understanding, and they have given me two more precious ones to love.

I am grateful for friendship, whether it be people who live near or far, whether I have met them in person or not. I have many, many "new" friends that I would not have met if it weren't for the internet, a place where many share my love for animals, gardening, etc.

I am grateful for my church, where we have gotten so much support and love, and seek, constantly, to give back.

What a great idea to post what we are grateful for!!!

I am thankful for the gift of music that I have in my life.

I am thankful for this noisy dog beside me, whining for my food.

I am thankful that I have friends who love me and care about me, and I have friends that would die for me, and I would die for them.

I am thankful for my parents. I love them both unconditionally, and even the situation things are in right now, what I need most is for them to support me and the things I do.

I am thankful for my nephew, Gavin, who brought a whole new meaning to the word happiness.

I am thankful for my education and my good grades.

I am thankful for my friends in other states and countries, we all know each other so well and yet we haven't talked or met eye-to-eye.

I am thankful for the food that gets put on my table everynight, I am thankful for the clothes I wear, the house I live in, the car my parents drive.

I am thankful for my relatives, always keeping me smiling, laughing and give out so much love.

And to add a little humor to this sappy post, I am thankful for the little smilies that I can post in my posts... that let EVERYONE know ex-actly what I am thinking.
