Prayers on the way that Katie has a successful surgery and speedy recovery. Such beautiful kitties! Hoping that Hagrid will take good post-op care of her.

    Update

Katie's through surgery, but there was a lot more tissue that had to be removed than the vet expected. I'll have to wait two or three days for the biopsy results to find out whether it's cancerous. Please keep those fingers and paws crossed for my sweet girl!

    Good news on the biopsy

The biopsy showed no cancer. Whew! The PT prayers came through again!

Katie is recovering very well. She woke me up this morning by crawling on top of me and licking my face--that's her normal routine. It's wonderful how kitties can bounce back so quickly.

Thanks so much to everyone (human and feline) for sending Katie your good wishes!

What can I say?? PT prayers work miracles!!!! So glad Katie is OK.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
