    Jasper is getting *so* big
Yes, boxers seem to be WAY bigger than what the books, and the internet say!! They usually say 55-65 for a male lol, and basically everyone I know with a boxer, says they are 75-100 pounds and everyone also keeps telling me that Jasper is going to be "massive" lol I personally can't wait for him to get big

    RIP Jasper. I can't believe you're gone.
RIP Tigger...I miss you every single day.

You have a very cute boxer!!

Just wondering though... are his eyes okay? It almost looks like he has a little bit of cherry eye.

(If you don't know what that is, here are a few links explaining it:

    http://www.upei.ca/~cidd/Diseases/oc...0mbr%20abn.htm

    http://www.veterinaryvision.com/publ.../Cherryeye.htm

I dunno... I was just wondering, don't take any offense or anything please. )

Yeah I know what cherry eye is, my dog Wiggles has one....

Hehe yes his eyes are fine. Theyre called Unpigmented Third Eyelids, are very common in boxers, maybe some other breeds. Theres nothing serious about it, just a thrid eyelid, it can spoil the expression, but are purely a COSMETIC FAULT only in shows and things, they cause no other problems, just shows don't like the look of them lol

Some boxers have a large membrane which can look to cover a large part of the eye, others have smaller ones which go almost unnoticed, particularly if the dog has tight eye rims.

Jasper's right eye actually has more of a third eyelid than the left, and his eyes are actually worse in the morning. It's strange, I don't mind it at all though, some people don't like it, he never had it when he was younger, but I've seen it be very common in boxers.

    RIP Jasper. I can't believe you're gone.

Oooh okay. Thanks! Yeah I knew boxers tend to have something like that. Most I've seen in my area don't seem to have it though. Thanks for clearing it up for me! Your pup is still a cutie! I love his colors.

I can't believe how much he's growing! His legs look so long now. I love that one of him drying off. Very cute.

I just love Boxer pictures, there's something about a Boxer. Jasper is a cutie.

There's a old story about Boxers that when God made them, he made then to be the perfect dog, but the Boxer got so excited when God was done that he ran so fast to the mirror to see what he looked like that he smached his noes right into the mirror. and it's the that smached noes that makes them so cute to me. That and their personalty.

Tuffy had the same problem with his eye also, but as he got older it got less noticable and now very few people even see it, unless they look hard enough. Jasper's might do the same thing too, who knows. But we don't care, do we, they are still perfect dogs to us.

About Jasper's eye, some days you can't notice it at all! And others its VERY noticable, strange! But yes, like you said, hes perfect to me and he'd be perfect to me no matter what!

    RIP Jasper. I can't believe you're gone.
