My Romance by Carly Simon. I just love that song. I happened to think of that earlier today and wanted to put it here before I forgot. Just a few more minutes before I have to leave for airport.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.
    [/SIZE]

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

    It's something like that...

I hav a few more but i dont think it's the type of "love" songs you're thinking of.

R&B has the best love songs!

~Kay, Athena, Ace, Kiara, Mufasa, & Alice!
"So baby take a axe to your makeup kit
Set ablaze the billboards and their advertisements
Love with all your hearts and never forget
How good it feels to be alive

Come on KayAnn, name them I would like to hear what they are. I love songs from all of those, sorry to say I am not much on country music. I went through a time when that was all I wanted to listen to though. So I'm not totally against country music.

Like somebody said, some of the country music has some really romantic songs too.

    ok, I'm back

This is old, but it's timeless, sweet and romantic.

I'm suprised no one listed it already

'Just The Way You Look Tonight' by Frank Sinatra

if that's not a good love song then I don't know what is!

Nat King Cole's "L.O.V.E."......Randy Travis "Look Heart, No Hands" and "My Love is Deeper." You are going to let us know what songs you have chosen, I hope! And, if you haven't heard "Look Heart, No Hands", you really should give it a listen. It's so pretty.

    Thanks, Dogz!

I know there are a lot of great love songs out there, but I can't think of any right now.

Can You Feel The Love Tonight
I've heard the one with Elton John singing.
