shes adorable!!!!!!! Id take her if I could! shes prob rottie/GSD mix. You can see the rottie in her face (& colouring obviously). you know, my friend's sister is looking for a large protective breed, preferably GSD or a mix of, I can show her this thread. She has a st bernard mix now, and they want a large dog for him, so she might be too small, and I dont know if shes looking for pure shepherd or not, but I will definatly show this thread to them. They live in renton. Ill let you know if they are interested or not.

Oh, and how tall is she? Im guessing since shes a mix of 2 larger breeds (although how knows what else might be in her) she prob has another, at least, 6 months of growing to do, & she will prob end up getting more muscular too, Im guessing she'll prob end up being at least 50 lbs.

What a cutie!! She is absolutely adorable. You are so wonderful to take this baby in. I hope you find a great home for her. You can try posting through petfinders. I know several people have had good luck with that. I'n no expert, but she looks like a dobie cross to me.

Awwww! She's soooooo cute! Maybe a min pin mix since she's not very big??

It's a good thing you found her, you don't want to know what generally happens to the 'rez dogs'.

so off to Pets Mart for doggie pants. I road in the back seat with her so she wouldn't be scared. She slept in my lap.

Then off to the vet, Pets Mart can not scan for chips. They don't insert them nor do they have any of the equipment to do it We found a sunday vet in Sumner, south of us. The gave her a good looking at and shaved the wounds and said a lot of soap and water to clean them and a bit of hydrogen peroxide, not much because it is too drying and NOT to use neosporin because it can trap the infection in if there is any.
Then home to put on the "PANTIES" oh no...

Ash and Nina were tired and didn't want any part of this dress up stuff. All the girls were tired.

In our dog book she looks like this one. But very doubtfull that she is, looks like that is a rare dog. But the right color and size, 33 to 40 pounds.

At the risk of sounding arrogant, lol! I do know a lot about dog breeds, (its a hobby of mine! lol) and I definately think shes rottie mix. Her face is very much rot, and shes got that bulky build starting.

Dobes are very tall and lean and have a very long muzzle, they are pretty much the opposite build of rotties. But they do both come black and tan & are fairly popular breeds. Actually Rotties are in the top 10 breeds in the U.S. if I remember correctly.. Im thinking they are 8th.. But I could be wrong. lol This according to AKC registration that is.

And your right Katz, its highly unlikely that shes a mix of that breed, its very rare and is probably only found in its country of origin. It is very possible however, that that breed might have Rottie as one of the breeds that were used to make it, or a similar breed. Rotties are an old breed, and I *think* they were used to make the Doberman! Also, I doubt anyone that would have a rare breed like that in the U.S. would be careless with it because they probably spent a lot of money to get it! hehe

"same lines of separation from tan to black and everything!"

Yeah, thats just because thats what the black and tan colouring looks like though. Its the same on all black & tan coloured dogs.

And a min pin is WAY too tiny to breed with a large breed!

BUT I supposed theres really no way to be 100% sure!! I could be wrong! And Im not trying to sound like "NOPE youre ALL wrong! And Im right!" LOL But personally I think all the signs point to Rottie; colouring, build, features, and popularity.

But despite all that, we can all agree she certainly is ADORABLE!! She just looks so content in this picture:

yeah! those ears sure make her look like a pit bull! so cute!! and hey, pits are quite a bit smaller than rotties so maybe thats where she gets her smaller size. they are very similar in build too. AND pit bulls are a very popular breed. good call. hahahaha
