Intercepttor controls hook, round, whip & heartworms. More than heartguard plus!
Heartguard & interceptor do NOT cure or prevent tapeworms. You need additional meds for thoses. But tapes are the easiest worm to get rid of, they sell good meds over the counter now. Tapeworms are contaced by eating infested rodents, fleas & other dogs infested feces.

Yes, Heartgard Plus is the heartworm medication you give monthly. Only Heartgard "Plus" has the added benefit of the medication for hookworms and roundworms. Regular Heartgard doesn't.
