Poor baby Binx He had to go through so much in such a short time. Prayers and positive thoughts going your way with best wishes not only for a quick recovery but also hoping that is the last bad experience you have.
Johanna, before I read that the vet put a bandage on your baby, I was going to suggest that you put a T-shirt on him (extra large, of course) with his back legs going through the sleeves opening and the tail through the neck opening. That way he won't be able to scratch himself. He may not look very dignified but it's not as bad as a plastic collar. I did that when Carina had surgery and it worked very well.
