Here's Maia. She is an intact female, DOB: 4/14/00. 65 pounds, LOVES food of all kinds (even the kind that is in the trash can...she'll knock over the garbage can to eat what's in it if given the opportunity) Great w/kids of all ages (adores kids and gentle with them), great with other dogs, not good with cats. Timid but friendly towards woman, needs tall men to greet her in a crouching position at first, as she is timid, expecially with tall men. Knows shake a paw, sit, speak, & catches food out of mid air when tossed to her.

Here's Roch. He is an intact male, used once as a stud for Maia, producing pups. DOB: 5/17/99. Great w/kids of all ages, great with other dogs, not at all good with cats. He is a very passive 75 pound boy who just loves to give kisses. Very cuddly and bonds very quickly He's an attention hog and a lap dog (well he thinks he is).

What a very sad situation They sound absolutely lovely and I can imagine this is going to be very difficult for everyone involved, human and canine.

I did ask that the dogs be spayed & neutered right away, so hopefully it's done soon. Thanks everyone

They are so gorgeous!!! I hope they find good homes quickly!!!

One of our friends has 2 pure boxers, and I think both of their families are boxer people. I don't know that any of them are looking for a new addition, but I will ask....

Oh my they are so beautiful!!!!
What a sad situation. I truly hope everything works out great for them, and I know it will be hard.
I wish I could give them a home, but 5 dogs??? I doubt that's a good idea right now!! I know the right person is out there.
    Keep us updated.

    Fox Gal,

Did you notice how old this thread is? It's been almost two
years since this was first posted. At first, I thought Leslie was
posting again. I'd love to hear from her again. I miss pics of
    Graham.

Her parents say "absolutely no dogs" and she is not able to move out on her own. Very sad situation. Both dogs are young, the male is 3 (if I remember correctly) and the female is two years. They both have natural ears, but are intact. I advised her that she will need to get them steralized ASAP. She has bred them once.

They absolutely HAVE to be adopted together. They are very, very bonded.

They are very wonderfully sweet dogs, not a mean bone in their bodies, both are lap dogs (the female is a 60 pound lap dog and the male is a 70 pound lap dog) and they very happy dogs.

I offered to help and thought I'd get the ball rolling by posting on PT first. They are located in Grand Rapids, MI. If anyone is interested or knows of anyone who is interested please let me know. I will post pics when I get them. I emailed her and told her to send me some good, clear digital photos of them, so hopefully she has some.

I will also be contacting boxer rescue once I get more info/pics of the dogs.
i would have them in a minute but as i am in scotland and u are in usa lots of luck with re-homing ur dogs they are wonderful pets mine is sadly missed
