I just hate the thought of those nasty little critters on our babies! We're thinking of having a house call from the vet to administer the tape worm pills. They have done house calls for us before when we went through an ear-mite problem! We have the most wonderful vet They give us free food to help feed the ferals, and always discount medication, over-night stays etc. We're lucky this way. It's not always easy to find a vet you thoroughly trust. When Porch had his surgery, he called all weekend long checking on him!

jeepers what a mission for you, at least you will know everything will be squeaky free of those darn pests and the cats will be happier now to be free flea, i use advantage too and find it excellent so far, i always wrap my pills in a little mince, u might call it ground beef not sure, and it seems to do the trick no problem.

Fleas are horrible to get rid of. I wish I'd have seen this thread before you tried crushing up the pills. Doesn't work, does it? The cats cat smell it a mile away! I'm glad you got the advantage on them all, that in itself is an accomplishment. But don't panic about infestation, I mean, clean and spray (Or fog) but don't panic. If your house was infested, you'd know it!!

Jen, you're RIGHT the crushing does not work. We even put it in tuna! We finally went and bought a piller at PetsMart and we got every cat pilled but Blaze (of course) and Spike. Spike was horrible. I have battle wounds all over my hands. We finally gave up and will take him & Blaze to the vet and let them deal with it. The house got sprayed today and the area rugs cleaned. Thank goodness we don't have carpeting! I hear that makes it all the more difficult to get rid of. Thank you all for listening. This has been quite the experience (and cost). I already feel better about it though1

Have you actually seen fleas in your carpet or on your furniture???? If not ... then probably just treating the cats will be enough!!!! Some cheap flea products just make the fleas jump off of the cat onto the floor etc.... but Revolution kills them so they will not move to another location!!! I wouldn't freak out just yet and go through alot of expense and hassle by treating your whole house until the cats have been treated and you actually see that you have an infestation elsewhere!!!
