Glad to hear you are getting Milo chipped. The best money I ever spent on Bastet.

    that debate again

well payitforward u will know i am in total agreement with you on the indoor/outdoor, i cannot imagine ash ever becoming indoors only, although some of you say it can and has been done, well maybe but u dont now ash, he would go berserk, lexie well she would adapt i think.
I should add that i am a home most of the day, so i supervise my cats when outdoors as much as possible, and nightime is strictly indoor time,

People in Moldova also think it's cruel and not normal to keep the cat indoor only, although in Chisinau, esp. the busy traffic area people keep the cats indoor. My parents had cats from the moment they moved into their own house. I think everybody does in my village. Thousands of cats, all outdoor cats.
My Juni is indoor only. We have her from the very first moment of her life. She's scared to go outside. Vasea like the outdoors, but he never asked to be let out. Naomi was totally different - she liked to sleep in our beds, she liked to spend time with us, but she NEEDED to go to her attic and enjoy her time there. I tried to change her mind, but, she knew what she wanted.

    Vio&Juni...

You are so right, it totally depends on your cats & the local situation. If we moved to a busy road, I would have to keep our pets in. And I feel George needs the option to go out, more than actually being outside.

We are lucky that our road is empty between 9am and 5pm. You just get residents and visiters in the evenings. I still worry for George but as I said before he doesn't travel far.

In fact Milly is ready to go today. I worry so much the first time you let them out and she runs so fast, she's hard to catch.

She is going to the vets for her last injections this afternoon and when we get home we'll take her outside. Hopefully for a short garden visit. We are not feeding her afternoon meal, this will encourage her to not to travel too far.

Both me & Steve will probually end up wandering up and down the street following her, the neighbours will think we are mad tailing a cat !!

PS. Milo has another 2 weeks to go before, he can go outside. I better get off to the pet shop, we need another carrycase for Milo.
