Thank you all! The vet has called a couple times a day over the weekend checking on him. Porch actually had a couple bowel movements, which is VERY good. He's still moving quite slowly, but is wanting out very badly. We sat out with him a lot yesterday afternoon. The worst part is he can only have special food so we're having to change our free feeding to a couple times a day. The others are real happy about this either!

I'm so glad Porch is recovering!!

Laying in the sun is always a good way for a cat to recover. He'll be back to himself in no time!

Welcome home Porch! Despite the shaved fur and scar, you are looking real good!

I love his little lion puff of fur on the end of his tail.

Oh, Porch, you look wonderful soaking up the sun. And there is no better healer than a good nap in the sun. I see you got your summer haircut too.

You are beautiful, and your mommy and daddy are too.

The bathroom is a good safe place for you right now, so don't be too upset that you can't get out. Actually I'm so glad you're upset because that means you're feeling much, much better.

Head bumpies and scritchies to you, sweetie. Soak up all the sun you can.

Porch is doing fairly well. He was shaved to help prevent his fur becoming really messing during his recovery. He will not have a lot of control for a while and it will be quite runny. We let him on the bed with us for a bit this morning, BIG mistake! I now have a lot of laundry waiting for me when I get home. He's now limited to the floor for attention.
