Oh SAS, how precious! I don't think it will matter one way or the other, which one you get! You will love it dearly and so will Ti!! I just hope Miley will handle it ok!

Can't wait til June either!! Oh, how I wish I could have a kitten, but I don't think it will ever be meant to be for me.

everyone I talk to, if they have any opinion at all, also prefer male cats.

Jen...now you will have to say you know someone who prefers females....

It was one of the conditions I imposed in getting a cat!

Ooh such cuteness. I went to the Highgait website for more and found this answer to why they keep the kittens for up to 14 weeks:

We do so to allow them to spend time with their mom and siblings to become well socialized and trained in the art of taking over!

Too, too cute!!! I must confess I've always had more females than males and the females seem to bond more strongly to me than males. Also my females have been yes !!!!bossy , opinionated and possessive...like the females of another species.... but also fiercely loyal and sensitive to my moods, up and down.
My males have been big wussy cats who let themselves be bossed around but sweet and good natured..not so intense.. I digress....oh the havoc those little kittens can create...rest up SAS before the kitten arrives. With your luck it will be the " tonsil kitty "

I have always had females also and Nakita couldn't be more warm, snuggable, and friendly!

for me its hard to say which i prefer, i have had two males, and now my first female, she is lovely natured, and i enjoy her very much, and she seems to prefer female people too, and has bonded with myself and my daughter extremely well, so for now i prefer females, but they both make devine pets.
