I am a man who hates big city life, but after opening up today's COTD, I would just about be willing to move to Los Angeles, just to sunbathe in Goldie's warm light. I am sorry that she must now be an indoor cat, but I am certain that life on the streets of LA can be mighty dangerous for a feline, and I, too, regretfully restrict the black cat from the outdoors as well (although yesterday he made two breaks for it) so I understand. It's unfair, though. Cats ought to be able to roam about in the outdoors.

Golden Sunshine of your Human's Life--your name is so befitting of you, Goldie, and reflects your remarkable coloring! When I get home from work I must show you to my tortie, Gerri. Your markings are so unique, like a cuddly little tiger. You sure seem happy to have been rescued from the outdoors. Your pretty pose says it all!

I still can't get over how good you are on the airplane, especially under those little seats where it's not very spacious. You're definately as laid-back as you look, Sweetie! I'm so happy to have met you today! LOVE to the pretty Torti, Goldie!

What an inviting tummy you have, Goldie - just ready for some nosies - I'm with Vio on that one, I love nose snuggles in Grasshopper's warm, furry tummy! Belly sugar extraordinaire!! And isn't it great you have lots of comfy pillow to lounge on in the manner befitting a feline of your obvious charms!! Hope you and your human are having a great day!!!

Goldie, what a pretty tortie girl you are. I would love to give you chin skritchies and belly rubs. By just being your brave, friendly and loving sweet self you now have a happy life with pillows to sleep on and semi-annual vacations. All of us who are daily blessed by our lives with our cats salute you.

So glad we made it to COTD following a very busy day so we could see your beautiful face and read your great story, Goldie! Bedraggled??? You're certainly NOT anymore! and converting "dog-loving only" people can be a task sometimes - one you've obviously done with great success, pretty girl! It just goes to show you the high caliber of the people that do use Pettalk , that they will go out of thier way to give a stray a second chance!
