We've been to Lanzarote for 1 week!! Pics included

After a long cold winter, we were so much looking forward to warmer weather.
So we decided to spend a week on Lanzarote, one of the Canary Islands.
We went from March 20th till March 27th.
It was a big hoot!!!
Oh my, the weather was so fantastic!! Sun every day, NO rain at all, beautiful scenery, relax, relax, and relax!!!!!!

Lanzarote is a volcanic island, which makes it very special!
The last volcanic eruptions date from early 19th century, so that is only "a few" years ago in earth's history!
This week was perfect to upload our batteries

!! Of course we missed our cats tremendously, but our kids took great care of them

I've always wanted to visit the Canary Islands, but been a bit put off by the reputation of them being full of rowdy British drunkards in the summer season.

From those pictures, it certainly looks very idyllic! I'd love to see those volcanic ash beaches for myself. Glad you had a good holiday and thank you for sharing your holiday snaps.

That's the reputation of Tenerife(Canary islands) and also of Ibiza(in the Mediterranean See). We saw a few British people, but tons of Germans.
The athmosphere was very calm and relaxing
