I always wonder when ordering at a restaurant and we're full after only eating a quarter of our food , why do we feel we have to finish the plate?
Thankfully a habit I've finally managed to break.

well I have a thread with this question in it already but it fits here too lol

How does ONE shoe end up in the middle of the road? I see this all the time. how did someone not realize they lost ONE shoe. how did it get there?

Hee hee, someone I know has said his cousins used to try to throw another cousin's shoe out the window when they were in the car on road trips, and sometimes it would happen on somewhere like an exit ramp where their parents thought it was too dangerous to go back and get it!

I have also seen people set a pair of shoes on the roof of their car while they opened the door and forget them there and drive off - usually "dress shoes" and they're wearing sneakers ... so I am betting both shoes ended up at the side of the road, but maybe around different corners!

That is as weird as around here we call a submarine sandwich that has cheese melted on it a cosmo. So you order a tuna cosmo and they say is that with cheese...duh?!?

Why do bad illnesses tend to strike on weekends (and usually at night)?

The same reason pet injuries tend to happen at, say, 11:30 on a Monday night*, or 8 a.m. on a Sunday ...

I have always been amazed that after hours of driving on the interstate, with the windows up, all of a sudden you are being buzzed by a fly. Where did it come from. Once it starts buzzing, you can't get it out even with all the windows down.

It's mid-November, it's 45 degrees outside ... and ... there's a fly buzzing around the window across from my desk?! How did it get in?

I had a HUGE wasp appear on my dashboard one day. It flew in the back of the car, I opened all 4 windows. it buzzed at the top of one of the OPEN windows, decided to fly back in front and crawl into my air vent. All while I'm driving. Three days later, it's back at the window, which I opened, of course. No luck. And I'm zooming down the turnpike. I finally stopped at a gas station, windows open, no wind, and it flew out. It was so strange (and dangerous)

And speaking of flies, etc., how come a wasp stung me in November?! I was frying bacon and felt the sting but thought it was a bacon grease burn but I looked at my arm and there the little bugger was; he stung through my sweater and my Tshirt. I'm glad that he got me and not one of the Fur Posse, though, especially Yodie.
    Blessings,

    Speaking of flies.....

There are a couple in the house that are driving me crazy, and I can't get rid of them.

Why do flies disappear as soon as you pick up the fly swatter????

EXACTLY! Do they know what it's for?
