Yeah, but not everyone's lucky enough to have a Dad like ours that teaches them how to sharpen good knives!

In my case, let's see ...

    Tool: Good knives

    Machine: Food Processor

Hmm, I've got the same genes, but cannot decide whether to put onions or cinnamon ... this time of year, though, I'll say

    Good Tomatoes!

And Richard, there's no kitchen appliance that scares me, but cleaning products can scare me, especially if they say "new and improved" because some of them make me extremely ill.

    TAKE OUT MENUS!!!!

LOLOLOL, That gave me leaky eye syndrome.

Of course, you have all the little packets that come with your take out in that drawer too?

    --------------

    Here's another good question...

If I open my food storage area, I have tons of ---------- in there.

What food product will you find in there?

    ---------------

IF I don't post these all at once I forget.

What kitchen appliance do you use that kinda scares you?

Kitchen item that scares me: Pressure cooker or deep fat fryer which is why I don't have any!

Predominant in my "pantry" - rice, pasta, beans, herbs & spices

    Richard,

Thanks so much for the tip on letter openers - I have one at work and never considered it to be a kitchen tool - wonderful idea.

    hmm.... good question........

tool: I think knives.. I use them for everything... they are even handy as screwdrivers :P

    machine: microwave... no doubt

food: here´s the tricky one... but the food I HAVE TO HAVE ALWAYS is CHEESE!!!... I can eat, and snack and chomp on it non-stop..... so that´s a must

then for the liquid part there´s also jamaica or lemonade concentrate powder for making beverage....and of course water.... LOL

    DUDE!!!!!

I friggin hate the plastic packages that I have to open in the kitchen......
I usually grab a knife and proceed to punch holes into the plastic that make pouring out the contents harder!

One day I was thinking and grabbed one of these-----

    http://www.westsky.com/letter-openers.htm

Companies GIVE them away and they open letters with no problem at all! I grabbed the one off of my telephone table and started to use it on the packets with not a care or problem in the world!

It's totally magic and I am going to glue a magnet onto mine and place it on the fridge.......If you have one try it!

    It's a god send!
