Yea, haven;t lost it, lol, just messin, ok, ummm..... ok, this dog was originally bred to Hunt lions and such. It Is rather large, which one would have to be. The breeds originating blood ancestors were able to go a full twentyfour hours or more without water if needed to. And were strong, quiet hunters, rarely barking; it possessed keen eyesight and a good nose for scent..later new comers bred in other blood and breeds to make a new special little puppy, with excelled excellence at the above task, maikng the breed we recognize now........also been used very successfully for hunting bobcat, mountain lion, bear, coyote, deer, wild boar and raccoon if I give much more info, it could give it away, I think the lion part may of.....

This dog is an excellent hunting dog for large game such as bear and is rarely kept as simply a pet. It is however, good with children and enjoys being around people. Typically it's coat is brindle but can come in slate/blue, fawn, or a saddle back. It does well living outdoors.
