lol wow those first 2 meals sound amazing. I hate hate hate to cook, so my meals are usually extremely boring. plus Im poor because I have 2 dogs and 3 cats and live in an apartment alone in seattle, hahaha so my cupboards are usually pretty bare. usually I just eat several small meals throughout the day. frozen meals and veggies in a can are usually my style but tonight Im going all out and making spaghetti. lol

    Garlic Rolls
Tri Tip Sandwich with Au Juice
    Mashed Potatoes
    Coke

Dessert at home was cookies and milk

Tonight I made myself some sort of wraps. Don't know what to call em.

I toasted garlic & pesto tortilla shells in a pan until they were a tiny bit crispy.

    The insides:
Sauteed zuccini with garlic until it was tender.
    Chopped lettuce
and a roasted tomato/garlic mozerella cheese

    MmmmMmmm!

    Really, I just wing it...

Here's what I put in it today.. I didn't measure anything, so this is just about what it looks like.

    1 bag of potatoes
    4 onions
    3 stalks of celery
    2 cans of chicken broth
    1 cup of water
    1 cup of milk
A few dashes of salt (I like it salty, so I put extra salt)
A few dashes of chicken bouillon
    A few shredded baby carrots
    2 sticks of butter

cut potatoes, onions, and celery to the size you like.
    Boil potatoes in water.
In another pan, sautee onions and celery with 1 stick of butter. When cooked add broth and water.

Drain potatoes, add celery/onion/broth mixture. Add milk, salt, and butter to taste. Shred a few carrots over top for color.

    I think that's it.

earlier today I put some frozen, boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the crock pot with a can of COKE, ketchup, mustard, teriyaki sauce, worcheshire (sp) sauce and a couple other things.
They have been cooking all day - and smell nummmmy! I think I'll also have some (boxed) scalloped potatoes.

wasn't much in the mood for cooking the last few days. It has been too hot and humid here. It has been in the mid 90's without the humidex. So last night we ordered pizza. Amazing as always. And tonight I made some oven roasted herbed potatoes.

Basically you just put some oil in a baking dish chunk up some potatoes then sprinkle rock salt, fresh ground pepper, fresh chopped (basil, oregano, parsley and rosemary). Drizzle a small amount of oil over top and bake for about 1 hour. They always turn out great and are a huge hit in my house.
