I'm so sorry!

I read this thread a couple of days ago and felt so sad to learn about Gigi's diagnosis... and now to learn she went to the RB already...

This decision is always painful to make, and yet it is a last act of love. With the cancer everywhere in her body, her last days would have been terrible for poor Gigi, but now she's without pain.

I know that when our kitty friends grow older, we have to get used to the thought of being prepared, but when it comes to it, we learn there's no way that we're ever prepared. It just hurts, and it leaves a terribly empty space.

I'm feeling sorry for your daughter also and I hope she's feeling a bit better meanwhile.
