I feel your pain Phred!! I was watching mom's Taggert and took my 3, plus him to the "Dog Days of September" at the park. They were all very good, but getting 4 dogs, to go the same way, and the same time, and sit for a picture is a hoot!Amy, are you suggesting that MY Taggert is not reliable when walking? That he would "run" and keep on "runnin" if he got a chance. Good girl, I knew I didn't raise no dumbie. One trick I have learned, separate the 2 most reliable ( for me, the girls) and let them help "watch" the other two (the boys!!)
Phred and Amy, now come one, tell me what is so hard about walking 4 dogs? I take six to Scooter's dog park and BG dogpark often. So what if I look silly wrapped in dogleashes, inching along afraid I will trip any minute.
Having had the experience of maneauvering 4 or more dogs, I feel for you Phred. I laughed because I could see EXACTLY what was happening. One day last year before they banned my five at the dog park, two got away from me and I got mad and dropped all the leashes and said see if I care, run away! Luckily for me, they all ran for the gate and waited patiently for me to catch up. It was snowy and cold that day so I sure am glad that is where they went because I am not sure I could have caught all of them!
