It is too funny! We always know what she's been up to, so I always check her box. I never let it go even a day, if someone is at home. I'm just not used to all these different behaviors. I guess ea. cat has their own unique way. Ours is so sweet but can be so standoffish at times. I can hold her and love on her only when she wants it and she'll just lay her head on my arm, but only if SHE wants it. We do have her trained to flop on her back when we return home, when we say "scratchy-scratchy", so knows its time for a belly scratch! Its too funny and I don't know what we did before without her. My stepson had her, but set her out side for a few weeks and I couldn't have that--she's been declawed. I told him how utterly cruel that was, so we rescued her and glad we did. Hubby will turn off the furnace and raise the windows for her to sit in when its cold! What a hoot. The only thing that bugs me is when she is thru with the litter box and running, then she scoots her butt across my good rugs, scratching herself! Guess its time for the good carpets to be put away for awhile, huh! The only prob is I took her to the vet, he gave her the 5 n 1 shots, but he found she has an enlarged heart and we're taking her back in 2 weeks for an xray and heart worm test. I'm worried about her, but its something that must be done. We're already too attached to her. I also give her hair ball treatments in the form of paste that she licks off the spoon. Anyone else do that? She licks constantly--Vet said she had a skin condition which may justify that. But its much better since she got a shot of chortisone. Any advice is most appreciated. Thank you.
