On that note, I'm getting ready for work. Later.

Oh Laurie, you can't ride a duck! Everybody knows that - they are too fragile.

I have had some coffee but it doesn't seem to be helping!

Mario, here's your cup back. I had it sterilized before I used it and after. So all germs are gone. You need to start collecting them again!

In a software design meeting, we were using typical technical jargon to discuss a data exchange interface with a vendor. One co-worker said the programming we had ordered was delayed because the vendor was suffering from a "severe nonlinear waterfowl issue." Curious, the team leader raised his eyebrows and asked, " What exactly is that?"

The programmer replied, "They don't have their ducks in a row."

Slick, I like the guy that asked "What's that?" Seems that most people, not wanting to seem dumb in front of their techie peers, would have just nodded their heads yes and never known exactly what the guy was talking about. The guy had guts to question - just like the guy who asked about digging through the garbage to find armor for their hum v's (just how do you spell hum v anyway? And if it's a hum v, where does "hummer" come in, what about the v? Sooo many questions on a Friday afternoon....)

Anyway, Corinna, you're right, usually with duck tape, if left too long, it will start to quack up and then leave sticky stuff behind which only increases the bill to get it all off.

Gee, it's 12:30 in the afternoon here and I'm not getting any better at this. Maybe I should fly home and duct my head back under the down comforter.

Oh Debbie, how sweet. I never thought of ducks quite like this before. Down comforters...........little ducks that go to your house and comfort you when you are down.

I tell ya the things you learn on this site!

I do love the idea of little down comforters but couldn't it get a little messy if you tucked your head under a duck? Zippy & I know about buns on top of heads but ducks?
