Settling is just an excuse for him to move on and ignore what he did. Personally, I'd make him take FULL responsibility for what he did. I would make sure he NEVER forgot that it was his recklessness that took the life of an unborn child who never had a chance at life. But then... I'm a mean, hateful, unforgiving b*tch sometimes.
