Cranberries - now your talking - I adore cranberries - make pints of my own cranberry sauce. Love cranberry juice too (nice with vodka..........errr........barkeep? DOTD?!)
I remember my Grandad eating pigs trotters when I was a little girl - not at Christmas - any time of year. Oh yes and cow heels - now their disgusting and slimy - but my Mum always put one in her Hot Pot (Lancashire dish of lamb, vegetables and potatoes) said it gave it 'body' - yuk - slimy object!!
Pickled herring - NO - I've tried them and they really don't sit well with me.![]()

Do like bagels, cream cheese and smoked salmon for brekky on Christmas Day - with champagne - yummy.
