believe it or not i have heard this more then once! 3 people came into the shelter i volunteered at in indiana and gave us their dogs for this reason. one was a sweet little toy apricot poodle, one was a small fluffy mix(looked like a scottie mix), the other one was a black lab mix(unfortinatly she didn't get adopted )
