Never. With all of mine having sufficient fur and with it being warm here year round, mine are always looking for a cool spot not a warm spot. If you even drape a blanket over'em, they'll quickly get it off of'em. Gully'll even squeash his bed up in his crate so that part of his body is on the cold plastic tray liner.

It doesn't get cold enough for my dogs to wear sweaters, but Peej does own a green and white one. When I put it on him, he gets depressed.

My dogs are all medium - long haired so no need for coats where I live... It only rains here.. But when we go up to the snow, Sesh and Megan get sweaters and jackets..

Sasha wore a sweater the first winter I had her cause she was so skinny, she's fattened up over the last 8 years and is ok now, but I don't take her out for extended periods once it drops below -15oC. She does have boots though. It can get quite icy sometimes and they give her better traction.

Not really, but Kito used to have a really nice fleece sweater that our neighbor gave us. I wish I had taken pictures, because it was the funniest sight. As soon as I would put it on him, he would just stand still like a statue, his ears would go down, and he would turn the other way. Poor baby was embarrassed!!!
It did come in handy sometimes though to calm him down if there were kids around.

Abbey destroyed it though, and I'm pretty sure she would rip anyone's off if I put it on them. I'm so tempted to buy them at the store, but hubby reminds me I might as well just hand the $20 to Abbey

I love the picture of Gino and Speck rocking their couture!!!!!

Tasha does sometimes, it gets pretty cold here in MN.

Tommy doesn't need anything, although I might try to get them both boots as their feet get cold fast when there is snow on the ground and the temp is really cold.
