Cancer, diabetes, and high blood pressure all run in my family. My mom is constantly on my back to go have a checkup. I think I'm afraid that the doctor will find something wrong with me.

I check my blood pressure using one of those store machines, and I have my own diabetes checker thingy that I use every so often to keep track of my blood sugar.

I did go to the ER about 10 years ago when my eardrum partially ruptured because of the flu, but I haven't been for a regular check up.
