Lol, they defiantly don't live as long as parrots. Parrots (depending on the kind) live 60+ years. The average live span of a Cockatiel is 13-14 years, however they often make it into their 20's.

Thats great that you got them, I love their names. I know nothing about raising baby cockatiels. I wouldn't think that it'd be too hard, momma and daddy probably do a good job themselves. I just know that they need to have a cuttle bone (even if their not laying eggs, but especially if they are). Also keep any eggs off the bottom grid. I have always had cockatiels, but never babies.
