Thank you deb! from me and jan!!! (she is wrapped up in new tyke right now, did you read the thread?) Anyway, Lola and Lita are happy torties and both nearly died. Little Lita and her littermates at age 24 hours or less. had to be warmed on our bellies while we searched for and finally found mom Lola! (a block away- I kept her busy by tossing her pieces of sardines to keep her in one place while jan literally drove her car backwards down the block to retreive the trap that was set for her!) As hard as we tried to warm them, it was too late, they all felt like little ice cubes. Lita, however, the little ice cube, made it!!! So happy birthday Lita! (her mama is pretty much blind but seems happy enough!)
