They've found a mass on the left side of Clarice's throat; it runs deep into the windpipe and is blocking it by about 50%. It's almost assuredly cancer. Chances of a successful removal/recovery are slim; the vet said if it were her cat, she would not put her thru the surgery. She also said that it's growing quickly and that, she expected to find something, but NOTHING as large/massive as what she did.

My mom has just left to go pick Clarice up from the vets; they've given us some steriods. I disagree with this decision -I think the kinder thing would be to end her pain- but Mom, Sis, and Dad want the night/tomorrow to say good bye. (Secretely me too, but I don't want to see her suffer.)
