Julie is an indoor cat unless I take her outside on her leash. I don't take any chances on her being loose in the neighborhood. There is too much traffic and other things like fleas, dogs, and a neighbor with an air rifle (who I saw use it to chase another cat out of his yard one day).
So there is no way she is going to be out there on her own.
